Celestia overview

Celestia is a Educational program. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Celestia for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official sources.

Celestia supported file formats include .CEL and other formats of similar type. Other Celestia supported filename extensions besides .CEL are .CFG, .CMOD, .DSC, .FP, .SSC, .STC, .TXF, .VP, .XYZ, .XYZV.

There are two ways of opening .CEL files with Celestia:

1. By double-clicking on .CEL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Celestia on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .CEL file through the Celestia menu. The menu button can be found on Celestia dashboard.
