Celestia overview

Celestia is a Educational program. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Celestia for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official sources.

Celestia operates with .CEL files. Other Celestia supported file formats besides .CEL are .CFG, .CMOD, .DSC, .FP, .SSC, .STC, .TXF, .VP, .XYZ, .XYZV.

There are two ways of opening .CEL files with Celestia:

1. You can double-click on .CEL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Celestia on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .CEL file from the Celestia menu. The menu button can be found on Celestia dashboard.
