StepMania overview

StepMania is a Gaming tool. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. StepMania for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official sources.

StepMania operates with .CRS files. Other StepMania supported filename extensions besides .CRS are .CTL, .SMZIP, .SSC, .VDI, .BME, .BMS, .DWI, .LRC.

There are two ways of opening .CRS files with StepMania:

1. By double-clicking on .CRS file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If StepMania is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .CRS through the StepMania menu. To open the menu, launch StepMania, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
