OpenSSL overview
OpenSSL is an Internet tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. OpenSSL for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official stores.
OpenSSL is mainly used for working with .CRL files. Other OpenSSL supported file formats besides .CRL are .P10, .P7, .P7R, .PVK, .REQ, .RSA, .SPC, .PEM.
You can open .CRL and other files with OpenSSL in two ways:
- By double-clicking on .CRL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If OpenSSL is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .CRL through the OpenSSL menu. The menu button can be found on OpenSSL dashboard.
